Drawn to water

These paintings explore the boundaries between memories and places where I have swam and observed. I am drawn towards water and especially pools, the calm blue of an undisturbed pool, pulls me in.

For me swimming is an activity that I enjoy doing regularly for exercise, but also as a form of stress relief and bonding with friends. Like my swimming technique the paintings have evolved through exploration and discoveries, learning about the subject, different places and expressed through a variety of mediums and tools.
